Apple ‘Let Loose’ iPad Event 2024 will be held on May 7 Globally; Expected iPad Pro M3 Models

Apple has scheduled its iPad event for May 7th. The event, themed "Let Loose," displays an artistic render of an Apple Pencil, suggesting that iPads will be the main highlight, after rumors. Apple CEO Tim Cook has posted more logos that allude to the illustration and graphic design capabilities of the iPad Pro and ‌Apple Pencil.

What to anticipate?

According to earlier rumors, we can expect two new iPad Pro models with the M3 chip, OLED displays, a thinner body and bezels, a matte screen option, a landscape front camera, and there are also rumors of MagSafe wireless charging. This marks the first major overhaul since 2018.

We can also anticipate two new iPad Air models with the M2 chip, a landscape front camera, and an iPad Air with a 12.9-inch display offering a large screen at a lower price point compared to the more premium Pro model. The iPad Air was updated in 2022 with the M1 chip.

A redesigned Magic Keyboard accessory for the iPad Pro with an aluminum body, a larger trackpad, and a new Apple Pencil with a rumored squeeze gesture, along with future support for visionOS, are also expected to be introduced at the event.
