Apple's iPad and Mac event scheduled for October 22nd

The rumors were true, Apple's iPad event has been scheduled for October 22nd. We expect Apple to unveil the new 5 generation iPad and the 2nd generation iPad Mini in this event. The display size is going to remain the same but with thinner bezels for the 5th gen iPad alongwith a fingerprint sensor similar to the iPhone 5s while the iPad Mini is expected to get a specs bump and may also get a retina display.

Apple will also unveil refreshed MacBook Pro's with Haswell processors and Retina display. The Mac Pro might finally also get a shipping date. The event has been scheduled for October 22nd at 10 am PT in San Francisco.
