TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro launched in India at Rs.34,999 with 1.43-inch AMOLED display, Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1, up to 90h battery life
Mobvoi launched its latest addition to the TicWatch Pro 5 series, introducing the TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro. It shares identical specifications with Mobvoi’s dual-layer design, boasting a 1.43-inch AMOLED display, powered by the Snapdragon W5 Plus Gen 1 chipset, 2GB RAM, and 32GB storage. It continues to run on Wear OS 3.5.
The most notable upgrades are centered around the display. Dubbed ‘Enduro’, Mobvoi swaps out Gorilla Glass for sapphire crystal, ensuring a highly scratch-resistant surface. The watch retains its 7000-series aluminum and nylon with fiberglass construction but now boasts a slightly slimmer profile at 11.95mm thickness, albeit with a slight increase in weight to 44.8g.
Design tweaks include reinforced bezel carvings and an updated rotating crown and side button, accompanied by a new 24mm “Fluororubber” band for improved durability. Battery life receives a boost, with the Enduro lasting up to 90 hours on Smart Mode and 45 days on Essential Mode, surpassing the Pro 5’s 80-hour Smart Mode capacity.
Software upgrades enable the Ultra-low-power Display for tracking workouts with third-party apps such as Nike Run Club and Strava, without activating the OLED display. Additional features encompass scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass, 5ATM water resistance, Barometer, US-MIL-STD 810H certification, and multi-GNSS technology for navigating challenging terrain.
On the fitness front, TicExercise now offers an expanded UI and a wider range of professional workouts tailored to different fitness levels, alongside GPS and distance tracking for activities like walking and hiking. Health-related functionalities, including heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen level detection, sleep analysis, stress tracking, and snoring detection, are consolidated within the TicHealth app, which also includes a complimentary 12-month VIP sleep subscription.
