Nokia 6 front display fingerprint sensor

In the front, there's the 5.5-inch 1080p IPS display covered in 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass. At the top of the screen you can see the Nokia logo, and the 8-megapixel front camera as well. Below it are two capacitive buttons for back and recent apps, and in between is the home button which doubles up as the fingerprint sensor. It seems like a capacitive button similar to the OnePlus 3.

At the top of the phone, you can see the 3.5mm headphone jack and another antenna band for signal reception. The flat sides of the phone with chamfered edges do add a bit of design flair.

    Nokia 6 microusb speakers

The curved glass on top of the display juts out a little bit in the front. Now coming to the bottom of the phone you can see the speaker, which doubles up with the front earpiece for dual stereo sound with Dolby Atmos support for surround sound.

Nokia 6 left side sim slots

On the left of the phone, there is the dual-SIM card slot and it is expected to be in a hybrid configuration with the second SIM slot doubling up as a microSD slot. Moving to the back of the phone, there's the 16-megapixel camera with dual-tone LED flash and Nokia branding.

    nokia 6 back camera battery

The back has a matte metal finish and the antenna bands are pushed to the top and bottom like the iPhone 7. You can also see the secondary noise-cancellation microphone right there and under the hood, is a 3000 mAh battery.

The volume rocker and power button are on the right, made of metal. The chamfer continues on all sides. The back of the Nokia 6 does curve slightly and at 7.8mm it's not a very chunky phone either. The top and bottom display bezels do seem a bit large especially the bottom chin which houses the fingerprint sensor.

Coming to software, the Nokia 6 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box but with a custom launcher. You can also see the stock Nougat multi-tasking UI and if we go into settings it shows the model number TA-1000 which recently received certification at China's 3C.
